My broadest topic relates to my cluster of Earth Crisis in which I chose to explore the topic of "The Environment". I chose this topic because it has interested me in all my cluster classes which have been Geology and Environmental Science.

My second broad topic is Global Warming. This topic is more specific than "The Environment" but still broad which is why I decided to size it in this particular section. Now I am going to decide from what angle I want to look at this issue from.

My starting topic is the angle of the overuse of car gases, air conditioning, and flying on planes. I decided to place this topic here because all of these factors contribute to global warming which is part of the environment we live in.
d. Your narrower topic (1/2 point)
My narrower topic are the meting glaciers. This topic is caused by the starting topic of car gases, air conditioning, and flying planes. However, even though these factors are all common factors that most people use, one must learn how to use them wisely in order to protect our environment.
e. Your even narrower topic (1/2 point)
My even narrower topic is the extinction of polar bears. Polar bears are going extinct because due to people's misuse of cars, air conditioning, and planes. This harms the environment polar bears live in to melt which then leads to their extinction. It is difficult for people to look at this huge problem on a daily basis, but if they reduce the amount of things they use, both the environment and the polar bears will be safe.

Now you've chosen multiple topics. When you choose overuse of car gases, air conditioning, and flying on planes, you are really talking about emissions from various devices, which is the topic here. And that, too, can be considered a subset of global warming, if you express it as one idea.
Now, you switch entirely. Meting glaciers, although I think you mean melting glaciers, is a consequence of global warming and not a subset of emissions. In order to be a subset, you'd need to pick something inside the concept of emissions from various man-made devices, e.g., carbon dioxide.
Then you pick yet another topic--extinction of polar bears, a consequence of global warming and melting glaciers.
So your topics of emissions, glaciers, and polar bears are different angles you can take as subsets of global warming, but they are not nested inside each other; they are separate, but equal, sub-topics of global warming.
